Instructions for using MF2 gas masks
Release time:2024/4/12 Tourist volume:20
1、 Overview
  The MF2 gas mask consists of a face mask and a small gas filter, or is connected to the gas filter through a gas duct. The MF2 gas mask can be equipped with various types and sizes of gas filtration tanks according to the protection requirements, for use by personnel from various units such as factories, mines, rural areas, scientific research, rescue, and firefighting.
2、 Masks
  1. Hood body
  The cover with an inward folding edge and a lower bar is molded from rubber to ensure a tight fit with the face and comfortable wearing. This rubber is specially formulated to extend the lifespan of the mask and has no irritation to the skin. The hood headband is easy to adjust and can be quickly worn. Therefore, the use of MF2 gas masks can ensure airtightness and comfortable wearing in various situations, even during stressful activities.
2. Lenses
  The lenses are made of polycarbonate and have a special surface treatment, which has high strength and surface wear resistance, providing a wide field of view and good optical performance.
  A airflow guidance method is used inside the mask to separate the incoming and outgoing airflow. When inhaling, the external air enters the mask through the gas filter and sweeps the lens along the air guide groove through the inhalation valve, ensuring that the temperature on both sides of the lens is basically the same. Then, the air enters the guide cover downwards; The exhaled gas is discharged directly from the exhalation valve. Due to the action of the suction valve and the air guide cover, the frost and fog formation of the lens are avoided, resulting in excellent brightness retention performance of the mask.
3. Exhalation valve - intercom
  The exhalation valve is made of rubber and has little resistance to expelling air. A communication membrane is a tight butyl adhesive film that vibrates through sound waves to achieve communication. This type of communication device has clear sound transmission and minimal sound loss. The exhalation valve and communication membrane are placed together on a plastic seat, and the outer shell is made of plastic. The intercom cover can be opened for easy cleaning or replacement of the exhalation valve.
3、 Technical specifications
  1. Protection object: Select different filter canisters according to needs, which can respectively protect various toxic gas vapors and toxic smoke and mist (please refer to the performance list of filter canisters).
  2. The oil mist transmittance shall not exceed 0.005% (30L/min);
  3. Inhalation resistance shall not exceed 186 Pa (30L/min);
  4. Exhalation resistance shall not exceed 100 Pa (30L/min);
  5. Field of view: The total field of view is not less than 75%, and the binocular field of view is not less than 30%;
  6. Storage life: 5 years
4、 Usage and storage matters
  1. Wearing a mask
When wearing, the small filter can be directly screwed onto the connector seat; It can also be connected to the air duct for medium and large gas filters, and the tightness of the headband should consider both airtightness and comfort; At the same time, it is important to ensure that the flow deflector opening is unobstructed. Wearing a mask for a long time, especially on hot days, if there is a buildup of sweat around the chin, you can bend down deeply and exhale vigorously to expel sweat from the exhalation valve.
  2. Remove the mask
  Grasp the intercom with your right hand and lift it upwards to remove the mask from the bottom up.
  3. Mask maintenance and storage
  After using the mask, the inside and outside of the mask should be wiped clean of sweat and dirt, especially keeping the lenses and exhalation valve clean. If dirt is found at the exhalation valve, you can unscrew the intercom cover and remove the exhalation valve communication membrane component for cleaning, then install it as it is and tighten the cover.
  Masks should be stored in a cool and dry place, with support placed inside. Do not come into contact with organic solvents such as gasoline or stack them randomly to avoid deformation of the mask body.
